Work Experience:

Art Director - for the Hispanic marketing company PACO Communications.  Work included the design and implementation of designs in a variety of media.  Trained and managed design staff. Managed big projects and client relations.  Hand coded XHTML, PHP, and CSS for a variety of websites. Managed and maintained websites on a linux server. Installed content management systems and worked with database driven websites from the command line up. Also managed professional photo shoots. Volunteer Experience:

English Teacher, Web Designer and Developer - Taught English as a second language to immigrants at the Casa Aztlán community center in Chicago.  April 30th  2007 -  April 1st 2009 (presently continued via skype). Also created a bilingual website for the organization. Work included the design, development, integration of social media, wiki writing, and training of employees on the content management system. Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Developer, Internet Marketing Executive, and English to Spanish Translator - Developed the logo, branding, and bilingual website for a Kaqchikel Maya village in Guatemala to attract educational tourism. This included running targeted email campaigns, search engine optimization, copywriting, and web statistics analysis. May 2009 - present.

Published in Direct Art Magazine - won first place in an international art competition. The artwork was featured on the cover and inside the Fall 2006 edition. Writing was also featured in this magazine.

2004: Graduated Magna Cum Laude and member of the Golden Key Honors Society.

2002: digital print “The Alcoholic” won first place in the People’s Choice category at the “Safer Break Week Art Show” at Northern Michigan University.
